Andrew H. Aurand

Andrew H. Aurand is a Principal with the firm. Mr. Aurand specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Aurand was a sales support engineer responsible for developing engineering solutions for customized test systems, process control systems, and other automated solutions for the automotive, pharmaceutical, military, medical device, heavy equipment and other industries.

Mr. Aurand has also worked as a law clerk at a Pittsburgh law firm, where he researched a wide variety of legal issues and drafted complaints, motions, and appellate briefs.

Mr. Aurand is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law. While attending Duquesne, Mr. Aurand was an active member of the Duquesne Intellectual Property Law Association and he was also a competing member in the Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court competition.

Mr. Aurand has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University. Mr. Aurand is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
